As much as we want to forget the hurt, it doesn't ever seem to leave. It just fades over time.

We pray to God and ask Him to take it away but He doesn't.

Why does He let us fall so hard that we crash?

My Grandma is always sending me forwarded messages. Sometimes, I read them. Sometimes I just delete them.

Today I had a little extra time on my hands and so I read one of them.

It was about sinning and rain and how a little girl said the windshield wipers on a car were like God wiping away our sins.

Cute. Touching. Just like every other forwarded message. I kept reading.

I got to the bottom of the message and the last few lines were,

"If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.
Happy moments, praise God.
Difficult moments, seek God.
Quiet moments, worship God.
Painful moments, trust God.
Every moment, thank God."
